Sticky kid, sticky kid - what have you done?
It is so lovely when clients and friends share with us their 'Sticky Fingers' moments! Here are just a few of the happy snaps we received this week. In fact we are thinking we might even have a bit of a happy snap competition.. prize? A pack of sticky fingers wipes to help clean up the mess... LOL!
This is gorgeous and the Oh so stylish Charlie wearing her Red Thread, Orange peony beanie and a bit of a glazed look too.. "What are you looking at? Dont you know orange is the new black?"
Got a sticky kid of your own? Though you were the only one didnt you...
We'd love to share you're sticky moments too, just email us!
On a side note - I swore I would never be one of those parents I used to see with dirty kids, icky hands, snotty noses.. I used to think OMG - how hard is to wipe your own child's nose? NOW - I take it all back... I have a runny nose kid.. I swear i can wipe and blow every minutes of every day... but still he manages to always (or so it seems) to have a runny nose and subsequently sticky fingers. Conveniently the inspiration for said named site.. but still - I dream of having one of those perfectly clean and tidy children at least just for special occasions and birthdays?!

Back to school...fold school
Like origami but on a much bigger scale.. and way more practical.
Click on the images to take to you to Fold School - a FREE!!! (actually free.. no postage no subscriptions or people knocking at your door) website that offers patterns and step by step instructions on how to make your very own cardboard furniture. Now don't be pessimistic - it is actually really stong and best of all - if your monkey's go mad and trash the place - another piece of cardboard and you viola-new furniture!
Why is the furniture by foldschool made out of cardboard?
Cardboard is easy to find and easy to handle. Your kids can live out their creativity in painting on the cardboard. They will have their very personal piece of furniture. Once your kids have outgrown you can dispose of cardboard with a clear conscience.
Is the furniture by foldschool stable?
The folding of the cardboard makes it very solid. It can easily carry the weight of an adult.
xx
Casey - Happy folding!

In-House Studios
What gorgeous photo's! Taken by Kate of InHouse Studios, the cheeky Cassidy is (of course) dressed by Ten Sticky Fingers in one of our Heidi Dresses.
Kate's style is influenced by the two Sticky Kids in her life, Isaac and Cassidy. Artists impressions aren't always true to life but Kate manages to not only capture the essence of her subjects quite flawlessly but also add a dash of style and effortless design to each frame.
We love it and here's what Kate thinks;
"I’m not after just smiles, as beautiful as they are. I want serious expressions. Wisps of hair that soon won’t be wispy. The way they look at someone that’s special to them. The way they look when they’re asleep. I want to capture life as it is – not the way people have come to expect family photos to be. I want my photographs to reflect your lives as they are today – right now."
If you too are loving this very talented woman, you can zip over to her site InHouse Studios or blog and check out some more of her amazing work and even commission her to shoot your own spudlets!

Little Miss Angel
This fabulously cute little angel is aptly named 'Angela' looking super cute in her Little red dress, the very talented miss Janene (aka Angela's Mum) created this incredible page for her scrapbook. So elegant and simple it really shows off her baby blues - not so much in this photo.. but in real life they are like little blue diamonds!
Very crafty and worth a gold star I say!
